BioI make my living as a gold and silversmith. When I'm not hammering, sawing and soldering, I love to write, play the Celtic harp and garden.

big_bad_man is the great love of my life. (Okay, there is Adam Baldwin....) We're both gung-ho Browncoats and I'm an active writer of Firefly fanfic, some of which appears under the alternate pen name hisgoodgirl at fireflyfans.net.
We live on a 12-acre nature preserve in northwestern North Carolina, in the airy, earth-friendly home I designed and we built in the midst of the huge oaks and hemlocks. Life is good.
In December of 2007, I underwent a laproscopic Roux-En-Y gastric bypass and am thrilled at my subsequent weight loss and new-found health. Each day brings new learning opportunities.
